Henry is finally on the mend, thank goodness! Brett is probably the sickest one of us now...
We did make it to storytime this week and also to a fun Valentine's Day craft activity at the Garden Home Community library with one of Henry's friends. Tomorrow we're planning on catching a dragon dance at a local Chinese New Year celebration held in collaboration with one of Mike's stores on Hawthorne. Should be fun...hopefully it won't scare Henry.
This week, since we were home a lot, Henry got lots of practice swinging his bat using the new baseball playset Hilary got him for Christmas. He loves it! (See pictures.)

He also has developed the nasty habit of saying "no" and "stop" at just about anything. "Henry, do you want ice cream for breakfast?" response: "No! Stop!" "Henry, do you want to go to the park and play until dark?" response: "No! Stop!" Arg! What else is he saying? Let's see...he signs/says "play" a lot, especially when we drive by a playground. He tells me he wants juice or milk (by signing and saying) at night when he's supposed to be going to bed. Little manipulator. The neighbors moved this week and Henry and I watched them, so now he talks about them moving every time we look out the window. Jumping off the couch is one of his new favorite indoor activities. Hmmm...can you tell we've been in the house a lot this week?!?
